Amaughfarms exists to document simple systems that work.
Not trends.
Not aesthetics.
Not perfect builds.
Just practical setups for bioactive enclosures, cleanup crews, and small contained ecosystems — built slowly, tested in real use, and adjusted when things fail.
This site is intentionally narrow.
It focuses on:
- Bioactive enclosures
- Isopods and cleanup crews
- The materials, order, and decisions that actually matter
And just as importantly, it leaves out what doesn’t.
Most problems in this space don’t come from lack of effort.
They come from fixing the wrong thing, adding too much, or copying setups that were never meant to be repeated.
Amaughfarms is written to reduce that noise.
I publish under the name Daryl.
I’m not interested in being an expert voice — only in sharing what holds up over time, what fails quietly, and what’s worth keeping simple.
Some pages include product references where tools are unavoidable.
They’re included sparingly, without hype, and only where they support the system being described.
This site isn’t here to sell a lifestyle.
It’s here to help things stay alive and stable.
Built slow.
On purpose.
— Daryl
