This whole thing — the blog, the shop idea, the posts — nearly didn’t exist.

Because not that long ago, I was in a spot where quitting everything felt easier than holding onto anything. Life had gone sideways. The kind of sideways where you stop checking emails, stop answering calls, stop making plans. You’re just trying to breathe through the day.
And the last thing on my mind was building anything, let alone a brand.
But somewhere in that mess, I found one thread I could still pull: animals.
Small ones. Quiet ones. Ones that didn’t need me to have it all figured out. They just needed care. Clean water. A bit of food. Attention. That, I could do.
So I started writing. Slowly. Then researching. Then building something — not big, not perfect, but mine.
And this blog became a way forward.
Not a side hustle. Not a “get rich” scheme. A purpose. Something I believed in.
Because I believe in pets. I believe kids should walk out of a shop with a creature they’ll remember for life. I believe renters should still be able to have something living to care for. I believe there’s more to give than just selling dog food.
This dream — the shop, the guides, the real content — it came out of one of the lowest points I’ve been through.
So if you’re reading this and wondering if I’m just trying to push products or write about what’s trending — no.
This is the thing I held onto when everything else fell apart.
Thanks for being here.
